Location: Istanbul, Turkey

This dream was undoubtedly influenced by real life events the previous evening, following a military coup in Turkey.

I was in Istanbul, Turkey with the Autism Matters group and we were on a street somewhere in the city. The street was blocked off by the military as the coup was on-going. People were driving down the street but were stopped by the military and ordered to turn around. A taxi came speeding down the street and the soldiers shouted orders in Turkish and English to stop and turn around. The driver kept on speeding towards them so the soldiers aimed their guns at the car and the commander ordered them in English to kill. They shot at the car's windscreen and killed the driver, then opened the door and placed a bomb or flare inside the vehicle after lighting it. We walked away and some of the vulnerable members of the group including JW and some others, were crying at the shock of seeing someone being shot and killed. I don't remember anything else of this dream.
