We have just had the first official Soar Sound Christmas Party in Leicester City Centre, just by the Clock Tower. The event, on Saturday 21st December, saw a brilliant day with free Soar Sound branded merchandise given away including pens and bottle openers. We had a great time promoting Leicester’s newest radio station with a live outside broadcast including appearance from DJs and live performances from local artists.
The day kicked off at 11am with a briefing among the team, followed by a full packed day with performances from Andrea Kenny, Kelly Jenns and Manye Fi. I managed to record a few highlights of the day which I’ve posted on YouTube. I’ll also include my photos here of the day. Richard Perry did a great job of hosting and we also had appearances from Alex Samson, Mike Watson, Nico, myself and others.
The event was also broadcast live on Soar Sound, and can be listened back online between 11am and 6pm.
