A plane has crashed into a field on a hill shortly after take-off from Fife Airport in Scotland.
The crash occurred today at around 11:38am today (Mon, Dec 23rd) near Kinglassie.

Emergency services are in attendance including police and ambulance as well as the Coastguard.
It is not currently known how many people were on the aircraft or the extent of any injuries.
A Scottish Fire and Rescue spokesperson said:
‘We were alerted at 11.38am on Monday, 23 December, to an incident involving a light aircraft near Kinglassie, Fife.
‘Operations Control mobilised two appliances and a heavy rescue unit to the scene to assist emergency services partners.’
Following on from this article, it has been confirmed that the pilot has died. He has been named as 50 year old Nicholas Denison-Pender, from Perthshire. Nobody else was injured.
The crash is being investigated.
